Two Singaporeans trying to live the "Good Life", differently from what we've been sold all our lives. This is our blog about our journey from the corporate world to simple living. We hope to feed our soul, and learn to flow with life, instead of being flushed through it. Listen to our inner voice and understand that we are not masters of nature but part of it. And of course, to hopefully inspire people who read it. Peace to all.

Singapore Garden Festival - The most contrived piece of crap
Another on of our sad Singapore stories. Its Singapore Garden Festival and I saw these people setting up this showcase garden in the middle of Orchard Road. Of course, who do we have setting up this lovely garden? Foreign Labourers probably from Bangladesh. Singapore's take of gardening is nothing like the gardening we experienced in the UK. The English LOVE their gardens and its not just enoying the end product but its 80% about the process. The loving, pruning, watering, feeding, loving.
Singaporeans dont want to get dirty or hot or anything. We just want to point and let the servants do the work. Its disgusting.
Saturday, we are leaving for Bali and I'll be there for 3 weeks. This 4 months in Singapore is the longest we've probably ever been in Singapore in a long time. So its going to be quite a change when we get there.
I cant bloody wait.
